And preventive examinations for most of us are generally something theoretical: it seems necessary, but there is no time all the time. That is why dangerous diseases are often discovered at a stage when nothing can be corrected. This is what the killer five looks like.
Tumors of the ovaries
Gynecological diseases are very often asymptomatic or disguised as other ailments. If diseases of the cervix can be found literally at the “zero” stage thanks to annual examinations by a gynecologist, then cancer of the ovaries or the body of the uterus does not give itself away for a very long time.
How to notice
The most obvious signs of such problems are considered to be pathological vaginal discharge, abdominal pain and menstrual irregularities, but such symptoms will not always be obvious, and may not appear at all. Most gynecological diseases duplicate the symptoms that accompany other diseases, so the patient does not always get to the right doctor on time. The following signs should alert you:
- intermenstrual bleeding;
- periods that last longer and are heavier than before;
- increased vaginal discharge;
- pain in the pelvic area;
- pain during intercourse;
- unbearable or frequent urge to urinate;
- feeling very tired.
