But what to do if the flu still knocked you down? The main task now is to remove the toxic waste products of the virus from the body.
To do this, you need to drink plenty of fluids, and not just water, but drinks containing a maximum of vitamins. Three plants of the domestic flora are distinguished by a high content of the most essential vitamin C – wild rose, sea buckthorn and black currant. Compotes, fruit drinks, juices from these berries will help in the fight against the virus better than any ready-made medicines.
But recipe for a real anti-flu herbal tea: mix equally willow bark, chamomile flowers, lime blossom, rose hips. Brew one teaspoon of the mixture with 1 cup of boiling water, let it brew for 10 minutes, and then boil over low heat for another 5 minutes. Drink tea warm 1/3 cup 3 times a day 20 minutes before meals.
A decoction of raspberry branches also helps., which can be harvested in the summer, or can be cut right in the winter. Add chopped blackcurrant leaves to finely chopped branches. For a daily dose, one teaspoon of the mixture is enough: boil it in a glass of water over low heat for 20 minutes, let it brew for two hours (you can in a thermos) and strain. Drink many times a day in small sips.
The taste of any healing decoction can be made more pleasant with the help of honey – it will not only sweeten the drink, but will also contribute to supporting a weakened body.
You should not follow any special diet, just do not overload the body with “difficult” foods to digest – greasy, heavy, sticky foods. Better listen to your body and it will “ask” you for everything it needs to recover.
To maintain immunity during illness, you can use garlic tincture.: finely chop 2-3 cloves, fill them with a glass (30-50 ml) of vodka or boiling water. Instill the resulting liquid into the nose, 2-3 drops in each nostril 1-2 times a day. Renew the infusion every two days. If the disease does not give in, rub the garlic on a fine grater and inhale its essential oils for 10-15 minutes 2 times a day.
