How to cope with the climax?

Health Tips

You are a little over 40. Great job, well-established life, happy family, loving husband. Day after day, you built your happiness “brick by brick” and then you understand: something has changed. Causeless irritability, sweating, hot flashes, sleep disturbances, a constant feeling of fatigue, self-doubt … Every woman knows what we are talking about – we are talking about menopause.

Traditionally, in Russia it is not customary to discuss the problem of menopause, it is considered “indecent”. This topic is practically not raised: an aging woman is not the most interesting subject for conversation. Representatives of the beautiful half of humanity do not want to realize the approaching age, men are also not interested in talking about it.

As a practicing psychologist, I can say that problems at work and at home associated with the manifestations of menopause are quite common in patients in the age group over 40. For example, some are afraid of divorce because of reduced sexual activity, alienation, conflicts with their husband.

Another serious problem is depression caused by the physiological symptoms of menopause: hot flashes, excessive sweating, pressure surges, especially if the patient works, leads an active social life, often happens in public. It seems to a woman that she has become the object of general attention, but not the one she is used to. Now, she thinks, she is not admired and admired, but rather sympathized and pitied. Hence – catastrophic self-doubt, irritability, stress.

Nevertheless, menopause is not the “end of the world”, but a natural and inevitable stage in the life of each of us. I am happy to tell the readers of Goodshapetips how to deal with delicate “age” difficulties.

Comprehensive approach to sensitive issues

Psychological problems that arise during menopause are sometimes no less difficult to overcome than to remove physical symptoms: self-doubt, nervousness, and fears tend to worsen over time. The mental component for each woman is unique and depends on specific life situations.

Personally, I recommend to my patients techniques and exercises aimed at relieving tension: breathing practices, swimming, walking. Try to concentrate around yourself what you love, what gives you joy and pleasure.

When I experienced all the “charms” of the onset of menopause, I was helped by working with older patients. By their example, I knew what difficulties might lie in wait for me, so I want to share my experience.

Firstly, I tried to avoid family conflicts, not only succumbing to the provocations of others, but also my own desire to throw out emotions. Depressive moods, dissatisfaction with life, resentment, I overcame by talking with colleagues, but already as a patient. Helped me and a friendly company. Breathing exercises and yoga classes calmed and balanced the nervous system.

Of course, I did not forget about the correct daily routine, followed the diet, took vitamins.

Nature’s secrets for women’s health

Relieve physical symptoms caused by hormonal imbalance helped me homeopathic remedy REMENS®. The peculiarity of the drug is that, unlike many other drugs, it is not addictive, does not contribute to weight gain. It can be used for a long time without risk to health.

Hot flashes and sweating went away in the second week of admission, mood and sleep gradually returned to normal, weight stabilized. I accepted REMS® 6 months 3 times a day, now switched to a double dose.

REMENS® is produced in Austria according to the highest quality standards. Its composition is a unique combination of five natural ingredients: Cimicifuga racemose (Cimicifuga), Canadian Sanguinaria (Sanguinaria), Pilocarpus (Jaborandi), Sepia (Sepia) and Lachesis (Lachesis).

Complementing each other, substances obtained from environmentally friendly raw materials effectively and gently affect the body: they help restore the emotional state, reduce irritability and anxiety, and normalize sleep.

And most importantly, to balance the hormonal balance of a woman, normalizing the work of the ovaries and activating the production of her own estrogen, helping to reduce sweating, normalize pressure and heartbeat, relieving hot flashes and headaches.

The disappearance of painful or simply unpleasant symptoms removed much of the emotional burden from my shoulders. Being able to live freely and feel good is such a blessing! Plus, when we’re healthy, it’s much easier to stay positive. As a result, many life and family situations literally resolve themselves.

I know this for myself: life did not end with the onset of menopause. Moreover, to paraphrase the famous movie heroine, now I can say for sure that after forty, life has just begun. It is possible to be a happy woman at any age!
