What is organic food

Organic products are those products that are produced without the use of the achievements of the chemical industry, without mineral fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides. In organics, the entire process is controlled: from raw materials to already packaged products that go to store shelves. The land, however, should not be used for traditional farming for the past few years. It should not have used mineral fertilizers and plant protection products. Organic production does not use GMOs, dyes, stabilizers, thickeners, replacement of milk fat with vegetable fats, and so on.

Animals producing organic food should only be fed organic food and not be exposed to hormonal injections.

Organic products should not contain any impurities other than organic. If you saw inorganic components, which can be no more than 5% of the entire composition of the product, then this is not an organic product.

In the production of organic products, the use of artificial food additives, as well as genetically modified products, is prohibited. In the processing and production of finished products, refining, mineralization and other methods that reduce the nutritional properties of the product, as well as the addition of artificial flavors, dyes (except those defined in the relevant product standards) are prohibited. The rest of the composition must be natural.

Using organic food in their diet, each person brings some health benefits. Firstly, it is possible to consume the largest amount of trace elements and vitamins. Also, the body is not clogged with harmful substances. In addition, the likelihood of various diseases, including oncology, is reduced, and, of course, immunity is strengthened.

How organic food affects the skin

Regular consumption of organic products, the benefits and harms of which have been discussed for a long time, is not a 100% guarantee of the absence of diseases in the future, but it significantly reduces the risk of their development.

According to numerous studies, the value of organic food is primarily in its safety. It is forbidden to use genetic engineering in its production. One of the possible risks of eating genetically modified food is its potential toxicity (in particular, on liver tissue), allergenicity, carcinogenic effects and adverse effects on reproductive function. Also, organic food does not contain chemically synthesized preservatives, dyes and flavors, raw materials grown using pesticides and chemical fertilizers. This is very important for people with an increased allergic background, which is becoming more and more. In addition, synthetic additives can negatively affect the immune and endocrine systems and the condition of the skin.

Separately, I would like to say about hormones and growth stimulants that are actively used in animal husbandry and poultry farms (this is prohibited in organic farming). They are perceived by human receptors in exactly the same way, which means that able to influence our own hormonal levels. Growth stimulants can inhibit the synthesis of human growth hormone, which plays a huge role in growth and development, regulation of protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolism. Including the use of a large number of growth factors in food is now associated with an epidemic of obesity.
